Terms of use

Beta version of 2026-10-25

Beta version

This text applies while Offerin is in its invite-only beta and describes what Offerin stores and does today. It will be revised before Offerin opens to everyone, and the app will tell you before a revised version applies. Still being settled:

  • who offers Offerin: the person's or company's legal name, and where
  • the governing law and where disputes are settled
  • the wording of the warranty and liability terms, after a legal review
  • whether to say anything about price (no part of Offerin charges today) and how a change would be announced
  • how a material change to these terms will be announced, and whether people must accept it again
  • the minimum age of 16
  • the date the open-launch version takes effect

1. What Offerin is

Offerin keeps one record of your work (projects, experience, evidence and goals) and compares it with the roles you track: requirements, fit, eligibility, resumes, a daily check-in and a daily lesson. You need an account to use it.

2. Your account

  • You sign in with Google or with an email address and a password, through Amazon Cognito. An address has one Offerin account: signing in with the same address another way is refused, never merged.
  • Use your own, current email address, and keep your sign-in to yourself.
  • You are responsible for what is done with your account and with the access tokens you create. If one may have leaked, revoke it in Settings and create a new one.

3. Your content

What you put into Offerin stays yours. Offerin stores it and works with it only to run the service for you, as the privacy policy describes, and you can export or delete it at any time in Settings.

When you add details about other people, such as contacts for a referral, add only what you may lawfully keep and use.

4. Acceptable use

When you use Offerin, do not:

  • scrape Offerin or use it to collect other people's data;
  • create accounts automatically or in bulk;
  • try to reach another person's account or data, or to get around sign-in, security or daily limits;
  • use it, or the job posting links you paste, to overload Offerin or anyone else's site;
  • use it for anything unlawful.

5. Agents and access tokens

An access token lets your own AI agent use Offerin as you, within the access you chose: read your record, propose additions for your review, and, with Record applications access, record application events directly. You are responsible for the agents you connect. A token works until it expires or you revoke it.

6. What a model writes is a draft

Check-in replies, daily lessons, fields read from job postings and other text written by a model are drafts. Read and correct them before you rely on them or send them anywhere. Nothing a model or an agent proposes enters your record until you accept it.

7. Limits

Features that call a model, reading posting links and data exports have daily limits, per account and for Offerin as a whole. When a limit is reached the feature says so, keeps what you entered, and resumes at 00:00 UTC. Sign-up can be paused, for a day or longer.

8. Information, not advice

Matches, fit and eligibility facts are information to help you decide, not legal, immigration or career advice. Confirm what matters with the employer or a qualified advisor.

9. Availability

Offerin may change, be unavailable for a time, or stop. Export your data if you want a copy of your own; you can do so in Settings at any time.

10. Suspension and ending

An account that breaks these rules can be disabled; a disabled account cannot sign in. You can stop using Offerin at any time, and delete your account in Settings, which removes it and its data at once as the privacy policy describes.

11. No warranty

Offerin is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind.

12. Age

You must be at least 16 to use Offerin.

13. Changes

Each version of these terms carries a date, and your account records the version you were shown when you signed up.

14. Contact

Questions about these terms: privacy@offerin.app or, when signed in, use Help and feedback.
